About

I welcome adults and adolescents to my therapy practice. As a licensed social worker and mental health therapist, I am devoted to helping you deepen your relationship with yourself. As a client, I will help you explore your innermost thoughts and feelings by holding up a mirror to the patterns that I see, and making connections that sometimes you might not be aware of. I then reflect my observations back, and together they are looked at as a team. The team aspect is important, as I view therapy as a collaborative process. We look at how these patterns may be holding you back from being the most authentic expression of yourself. We then work towards reconciling this dissonance so that you can reclaim yourself in full integrity. Our goal is to dwindle the gap between who you are and who you wish to be.

I integrate an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens within my work, meaning I am sensitive to how trauma, culture, race, sexuality, gender, and other identities may impact the experiences of my clients. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, and grief. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with self-esteem issue.

I am a member, in good standing, with the Ordre Professionnel des Travailleurs Sociaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ) and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
